Gangs in Forsyth and Cherokee counties will soon be facing a triple threat from two sheriff's offices and the FBI. The three agencies are teaming up to combat the growing threat of gangs in these two suburban counties, Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said. Two deputies from each county will work with FBI agents to gather gang intelligence in Cherokee and Forsyth counties, Paxton said. The goal will be to deter gang activity, but the task force members also will be available to provide gang education in the schools, the sheriff said.
